Santa Monica Seafood, as an 80-year-old privately owned company, is the largest specialty wholesale distribution and processor of fresh and frozen seafood in the Southwestern U.S. with over 200,000 SF of facilities in 12 locations In California, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, and Texas. Santa Monica Seafood is also well known locally for its two retail stores and cafes in Santa Monica and Costa Mesa.
We are looking for a packer to work in the Order full Fulfillment department in our warehouse located in Compton, CA.
Primary Duties;
As an Order Pulleryou will be:
- Puling orders and scanning
- Inspecting all products for quality
- Preparing boxes
- Packing seafood and weighing
- Keeping your working area clean
- Assisting with various related tasks as assigned by your supervisor
- Move merchandise throughout the warehouse as needed
Requirements and Qualifications are but are not limited to:
- Able to work in a 35 to the 40-degreeenvironment.
- Being able to lift and carry 30-40 pounds for a short distance.
- Walking and standing for a long period of time
- Basic Computer knowledge
- Properly and safely use warehouse equipment that you are authorized to use to complete tasks (cherry picker, pallet jack)
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $21.00 - $36.00 per hour
